Consultancy Title: Social Policy Consultant (Evidence Generation & National Social Protection Polices), Amman, Jordan Country Office (11.5 Months)
Under overall guidance from the Chief of Social Policy and direct supervision from the Social Policy Specialist, the Social Policy Consultant will assist the section in implementing a set of policy advocacy and knowledge management initiatives. This include supporting the implementation of UNICEF social policy priorities in the areas of: Policy advocacy and System Strengthening, National Social Protection Policies, and Evidence Generation. In addition, the consultant will contribute to the daily implementation of specific project activities under the joint UNICEF-ILO program “Towards an Inclusive National Social Protection System and Accelerating Decent Job Opportunities for Syrians and Vulnerable Jordanians”.
