Job Description
* Student Support Assistant
Student Support Assistant
Location Winterbourne, South Gloucestershire
Contract: Permanent, term time only to include INSET days (39 weeks per year)
Salary: Grade 9, £19,022 per annum, rising to £21,001 per annum
through annual increments (£23,484 – £25,927 FTE)
Hours: 35 per week (08:15 – 15:45, Monday to Friday)
Winterbourne Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Student Support Assistant. The post-holder will assist the Heads of Year in creating a positive year group identity and establish high standards of achievement and attendance whilst providing pastoral support to students. They will also work closely with the Heads of Year to manage and improve student behaviour through the consistent and fair implementation of academy rules and expectations, in order to improve learning.
