Business Unit Purpose – Marketing

To promote the business and brand of Pharmacy 4 Less, serving as the face of the company. Creating an overarching image that represents the company in a consistent way both internally and externally, including coordinating and producing all materials representing the business. This is achieved through managing the brand image and perception, design and manage marketing initiatives, manage brands online presence via social, search & display media, owned platforms, and content marketing and to be the voice of the consumer form the organisation.

As a rapidly growing National organisation, The Pharmacy 4 Less Marketing Department is looking to expand the team.

We have an opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our team – full-time.

The Graphic Designer position is part of a small, passionate, and creative marketing team responsible for the creation of market-leading promotional and brand communication, content, and retail merchandising, as well as associated, supportive marketing collateral, inclusive of digital and printed, across several platforms and formats including In-store, Mail-outs, EDM, Social Web and Print to promote the Brand.

The Role

As a part of the in-house creative team, this position requires someone resourceful and self-motivated to complete regular design tasks and undertake new projects.

Essential duties will involve, but are not limited to:

  • Design and development of digital marketing collateral, including, but not limited to; website elements, email marketing, digital advertising, presentations, digital catalogue and brochures, etc.
  • Design and development of physical marketing collateral, including, but not limited to; catalogues, flyers, posters, price tickets, point of sales etc.
  • Monitor and update the websites/s graphic, content, and merchandising elements, under Design Manager's vision / guidance.
  • Oversee website graphic design changes, under the Design Manager’s vision and guidance.
  • Aid in the creation and design of presentation, selling aids, marketing booklets and corporate collateral.
  • Maintaining brand guidelines and ensuring all collateral meets these specifications
  • Research ideas, source reference material, create new artwork & assist in the design process from concept to finished
  • Track the design progress to ensure timely execution and delivery of designs.
  • Maintain production schedules and delivery communication for design projects.
  • Maintain digital, artwork and image library.

About you – Knowledge, Skills & Experience

We are interested in applicants with the ability to work to, in a team and autonomously to strict deadlines and across concurrent projects

Ideal candidates will have:

Minimum Experience:

  • Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign) suite of programs, MS Word and PowerPoint in a Mac environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working across a range of design projects with exposure to merchandising, retail point sale, catalogues, digital/social content, and creative development (video, animated & static) and corporate visual assets.
  • Demonstrable ability to take and develop design work from verbal and/or written design brief.
  • Expertise in video production, and animation, as well animating presentation will be highly regarded.
  • Retail-specific experience would be a major plus.
  • Experience with social media and online creative design.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and application of best practise in design for digital content and comms.
  • Ability to develop, design, and produce creative for publications, promotional campaigns, and materials for print and digital distribution.
  • Video Editing, HTML and WordPress are an advantage

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Good typographical skills and a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
  • Proficiency in English, spelling and grammar skills and the ability to self-check work and take instructions and provide updates in English to Head Office.
  • Detail-orientated, process and deadline driven with an ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to keep accurate records of tasks and project deliverables and provide WIP/status reports as required
  • Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography, and design skills
  • An innate digital and mobile first approach to creating content
  • A customer and market-focussed outlook on design
  • Ability to manage a high number of concurrent priorities with key timelines
  • Be up to date on design trends and industry developments
  • Project/Program management in a fast-paced environment

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Qualifications in Graphic Design or a similar discipline
  • Strong experience in designing and production of retail point of sales , brochure and catalogue design, digital assets creation for Social and Display channels, video editing and production, corporate /business marketing and branded merchandise and business/marketing presentation

Other information

  • The role will be reporting to the General Manager – Marketing located in Sydney, Australia. and will interact with our Australian team on a daily basis.
  • Some flexibility in working hours is required considering the time zone difference between Jordan and Sydney, Australia.
  • Working will be from our office in Irbid.
