Job Description

Corporate Finance Analyst (Fixed Term)
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The role is responsible for providing financial and commercial support to management, through complete and accurate financial and accounting information. Plan, develop and control all aspects associated with the completion of all local financial accounting related issues (including cash flow management, General Ledger, Accounts receivables, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets management, Bank Reconciliations, and dealing with Internal and External Auditors, to produce monthly, quarterly and yearly Financial Statements as required by Management and local statutory institutions).

Country Finance Manager
Reporting Level : Entry Level (1 Year Fixed Term Contract)
Geographic Scope : Amman, Jordan.
Market Competitive Salary: 13,000 JOD – 14,000 JOD Annually
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
* Lead the sales and purchases processes of domestic and export operations
* Ensures comprehensive collection, processing, recording, and reporting of financial data.
* Ensures that records of revenue and expenditure are properly maintained and available
* Supervises the processing of expense claims, invoices and debit/credit notes
* Lead General Ledger reconciliations (bank, debtors, creditors, suspense accounts)
* Handle excise and VAT reconciliations and payments on a timely basis
* Lead month-end and year-end closure processes
* Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
* Acts as the point of contact for Country Manager and Finance Director for any financial accounting issues (collections, sales tracker, Debtors/ Creditors reports, financial statements, etc..) * Knowledge of finance and accounting. Lead across functional teams.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
* University degree in Accounting or Finance
* 1 – 2 years’ experience in Accounting with knowledge of Accounting principles
* Commercial and business knowledge
* Strong analytical skills
* Proactive, dynamic, & self-motivated
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Team player
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & under stress
* A methodical approach to work and the ability to prioritise
* Excellent computer skills (Windows and Microsoft Office Environment) Fluent in Arabic and English
