The Museum receives 300,000 visitors annually from schools and families from all backgrounds

About the position (Digital Marketing Officer):
Under this position, the selected candidate will be reporting to the Marketing & Communication Senior Officer. The Digital Marketing Officer is responsible for strengthening and maintaining the Museum’s online presence/ visibility through different online channels, achieving the goals of awareness and promotion and handling interaction with online audiences.
Duties and Responsibilities
* To develop and implement digital marketing strategies and campaigns using digital marketing channels to raise awareness, promote services, and drive traffic.
* To administrate and manage the Museum’s digital marketing channels; including social media accounts, website, and application(s).
* To generate, write, and edit content for the Museum’s social media accounts (posts, photos, and videos), YouTube channel, website, and application(s), in-line with the Museum’s communications strategy and activities.
* To provide analysis, recommendations, and periodic reports on campaigns’ performance and related analytics.
* To keep the website up-to-date and improve the user experience on the website by improving content, layout, and any related aspects.
* To handle online interaction with users and reply to messages, comments and reviews in accordance with the Museum’s policies.
* To ensure that implemented campaigns and strategies work in line with Marketing Department’s plans and match the Museum’s strategic goals.
* To perform any other job-related tasks assigned by the direct manager.
Qualifications and Communications:
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing or any related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Flicker) and generation of digital content.
* Proficient in both Arabic and English writing.
* Proficient in using Adobe Premier and video and photo editing programs. * A certified social media and digital marketing expert training course is a plus.
