Duties

Responsible for specific personnel functions, management of the Merit Based Compensation System and administrative support to U.S. direct hire (USDH) employees. In addition, Local Employed Services duties can include – Oversees Personnel System, Performance management, Within Range Increase, Staff Compensation/Benefits Program, Medical, Awards, Training, and Official Residence Employees. USDH duties include accreditation of new USDH employees, domestic worker permits, and liaising with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior, and Tax Department. The position regularly communicates with external contacts in the host government and private sector, but may or may not be considered the main Point of Contact (POC), in order to respond to inquiries and handle official communications on a variety of human resources functions. Position has no direct supervisory responsibility, but may provide work guidance to subordinates.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: Minimum three years of experience in human resources administration field is required.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Industrial Engineering is required.

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE:

English: Fluent – reading/writing/speaking is required. This may be tested.

JOB KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge of general office management practices and procedures. Knowledge of job evaluation, concepts and principles. Must have knowledge of Human Resources practices, performance management, etc. Good working knowledge of local labor and social security laws as well as recruitment prevailing practices and customs is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook, and Internet). Must have understanding of mathematical formulas for preparing statistical reports on various elements of data analysis. Strong writing skills to produce and update complex reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills to manage in-person and telephone contacts. Must be organized, diligent and able to work under pressure. Good interpersonal relationships are required.
