IT Service Delivery Administration Professional
We are looking for a highly potential and motivated candidate to be part of our Engineering department, who will be responsible for handling daily operations of the IT Infrastructure for all Zain mission critical applications including: SAN storage, backup, physical servers, virtualization, VDI. Administration and configuration of SAN, NAS, Tape Libraries, Backup solutions, Microsoft Solutions, SAN Switches and UNIX & Linux Servers, and planning the execution of necessary preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as recommending on upgrades and ensuring that the latest technology is utilized.
Main Tasks will include but will not be limited to:
- Administration and support for all Storage Infrastructure Systems and servers including SAN & NAS Storages, SAN Switches, All-Flash arrays.
- Administration and support for Backup Systems & Applications including NetBackup, Avamar, Tape Library, Backup Appliances Data Domain, and NetBackup.
- Administration and support of Zain’s Linux & Unix platforms.
- Administration and support of Zain Oracle Servers.
- Administration and support for Infrastructure Systems, servers & Applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, Hyper-V, VMWARE, Office365, Proxy …etc.
- Installation and configuration of server operating systems such as web hosting, email hosting, cloud environments, DNS Services, RADIUS…etc. as well as carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance.
What Do You Need to Qualify
To be shortlisted for the position, you will need to comply with all of the below requirements:
▪ Holds a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering or a related field.
▪ Has a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
▪ Having EMC, VMware, Red Hat, Microsoft certification or equivalent professional certificate is a plus.
