Relationships & Business Development Manager – UWallet

UWallet is standing for a robust consortium of diversified partnerships of banking institutes, mobile network operator, and Payment Service Provider resulting to an integrated collaborative ecosystem furnished to serve our clients with the best and most convenient services. UWallet is the brand of e-wallet service that can be easily activated on mobile devices, offering our clients a wide spectrum of convenient secure ways to execute local and international monetary transactions in few seconds, anytime, and anywhere.
Job Purpose:
The job holder is responsible for representing the company commercially, market its services, developing business of the company, expanding the network of both the agents and business entities, building and maintaining relationships with partners, agents and the stakeholders, acquiring high value accounts of business entities to expand the company’s network and market share, and monitor performance measures.
Responsibilities:
- Expand the network of both the agents and business entities.
- Request for tenders and collect the announced tenders by other parties, draft the proposals, and presentations and set up the contractual agreements.
- Match and forecast the business needs of the business entities/agents by ensuring that the network is able to service the end users “areas, financial capability”.
- Perform the on-boarding process for agents and business entities, customize the training material and deliver it, provide the agents with all related marketing materials.
- Work alongside with the operations team to create users and ensure service uptime.
- Cooperate with product team members to define and launch the services to the designated agent/business entity.
- Maintain the business entity relationships and ensure that they are utilizing the full capacity, as well as matching the business entities’ needs with our current agent’s network, and elevate the network capabilities to fulfill their needs, also accommodate ad-hoc tasks to fulfill business entities’ needs/requests such as awareness sessions for end users and/or any other requests in this regard, and measure the revenues of business entity and ensure that their targets and service levels are achieved.
- Ensure that the agents’ stock is controlled, in addition to initiating the requests for reconciliation and liquidity processes along with the finance team and following up to ensure it is done properly, as well as preparing the agents for the upcoming traffic, following up with agents when additional elements are to be added, handling the needed logistics, rolling out the additional requirements across all agents, and monitoring performance and agents activity to match it with company strategy.
- Represent the company in the events, workshops & conferences and participate in the activities held.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of market conditions, reporting high-level management, and coordinate with the marketing & operations staff to illustrate market conditions.
- Work with communication team to prepare the marketing material, deliver them to the market, and announce the service to the concerned stakeholders.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the management falling within the job role’s scope of work.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or any related field.
Work Experience:
A minimum of 8 years in a related field.
Knowledge of:
- Excellent knowledge of financial services industry.
- A working knowledge of mobile financial services is preferable
- Good knowledge of smart phones’ settings and applications
- Good knowledge of product life cycle
- Excellent knowledge of the market; competition, consumer behavior and consumer segments, distribution channels, local culture
Skills In:
- Excellent command of selling techniques: consultative selling, negotiation techniques, deal structuring, persuasion and deal closing, cross and up selling techniques.
- Good command of risk management: risk assessment techniques, mitigation techniques, risk probability and estimation
- Excellent command of account management skills.
- Good command of Customer Care; Problem solving techniques, Agent utilization tools & techniques, Customer care channels, Customer care applications, Lead generation and referral
- Excellent command of MS Office
- Excellent command of English language both writing and speaking
- Excellent command of communication and networking skills
