Org. Setting and Reporting
The incumbent is responsible to Project Coordinator.
Responsibilities
• Assist the Project Coordinator in identifying and reviewing project needs, prepare individual project proposals and maintains Education Programme (EP) projects master list.
• Coordinate with the concerned department in drafting project proposals, project progress and final reports.
• Support the Project Coordinator to ensure smooth implementation of Education Programme related projects.
• Monitor project activities regularly, identify problems and bottlenecks and propose solutions.
• Use SAP system to create all necessary PRs, POs, SES, SO, GRN, BAA, etc., and verify material numbers and specifications required for all purchases under EP projects.
• Generate budget consumption reports and monitor expenditure under the WBS element and CI for each project.
• Coordinate with different stakeholders related to EP projects for smooth implementation.
• Prepare budget breakdown for EP projects and follow up of fund allocation at SAP.
• Perform other tasks related to projects (including Scholarship Projects) and other administrative duties to meet the needs of the education programme as assigned.

• Diploma degree in business administration, finance or any other relevant subject.
Work Experience
• At least two years of experience in project support services, admin work, and finance

Evaluation of qualified candidates may include an assessment exercise which may be followed by competency-based interview.

Contract Status :
Limited Duration Contract (LDC); 12 months extendable subject to the continuity of the function and funding.
Benefits:
– LDC: Band “D”/ S1 Monthly salary is JD JD 729.70 Fils Contract Status: 12 Months (Extendable) subject to availability of funds, satisfactory performance of the incumbent and the continuing need for the post).
– Other benefits include medical insurance and annual leave and dependency allowance (if applicable).
Duty Station: Jordan Field Office.
Department : Education Programme.
Working conditions: Office environment with access to telephone, PC and other automation equipment, internet, and intranet. Some local travel may be required.
Desirable Qualifications:
Specific experience in project management in UNRWA or other UN Agency or non-profit organization.
EQUIVALENCY:
When the minimum requirements are not fully met, the concerned Director may exceptionally substitute part of the unmet requirements with a combination of relevant academic qualifications, additional professional training and progressive relevant work experience.
NB: Work experience alone or formal qualifications with no relevant work experience are not considered an acceptable combination.
