Job Description:
Spectrum is hiring an Accountant/HR Officer to manage all financial transactions of the company from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits, budgets and cashflows. Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. In terms of HR, salaries, social security deposits and income tax settlement of employees shall be managed and maintained.
Responsibilities:
– Manage all accounting transactions
– Prepare budget forecasts
– Prepare monthly financial reports
– Prepare and maintain management accounts
– Coordinate with external auditors for publishing financial statements
– Manage all entries on the ERP accounting system of the company
– Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
– Reconciles AP and AR
– Ensure timely bank payments
– Calculate taxes both income and sales
– Coordinate with tax advisors on tax reporting and all tax related issues
– Manage balance sheet and profit/loss statements
– Report on company’s financial situation and liquidity
– Comply with company’s financial policies and regulations
Requirements:
– Work experience as an Accountant
– Excellent English language skills: speaking, reading and writing
– Knowledge of HR financial related aspects (salaries, income tax and social security)
– Experience in an accounting ERP system
– MS Excel skills
– Strong attention to details and good analytical skills
– BSc. in Accounting or Finance
– Additional certification like CPA or CMA is a plus
