Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all Supply Chain activities are executed according to Company policies and procedures.
- Establish performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting Supply Chain.
- Develop procedures for coordinating work between Supply Chain and other departments such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, Production, Quality Assurance, etc.
- Lead, develop and implement strategic and operational actions.
- Target and lead negotiations with suppliers and external entities.
- Maintain required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production.
- Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with other departments through supplier and/or SLA appraisal when applicable.
- Analyze current procedures and suggest improvements to improve efficiency of Supply Chain, increase profitability for the company and minimize risk.
- Review and monitor the development of the Material Requirements Plan (MRP) and the Master Production Plan (MPP).
- Review and update Supply Chain practices in accordance with new or changing policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
- Assess the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; make recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.
- Oversee and direct the design and implementation of plant warehousing strategies for production materials or finished products.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain or any related field, CSCP is a plus.
- At least 12 years of relevant experience including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Excellent written, read and spoken English & Arabic.
