Head Of Talent Management & OD

Analyzing business structures, procedures, processes, and the utilization of resources.

Closely works with relevant stakeholders to ensure career development tools/practices are aligned with organizational needs.

Researches best practices in human performance and designs and revises performance management system for the organization.

Continually improves processes to develop Performance Appraisal systems.

Analyses existing programs to determine their on-going ability to support the stated objectives.

Actively drive the implementation of best practices in these areas, at a global scale.

Contribute with the recruitment team of the tools/practices for enhancing current talent management approaches.

Develops ideas/uses for technology, in human performance processes.

Designs and develops communications programs for managers.

Build and establish the organization job descriptions

Researches and establishes Competency Models for the various positions in the organization.

Designs and develops standards for competency assessment for recruitment, development and promotions of employees.

Implements the competency framework system within the organization and trains Managers to carry out competency assessment, determine employee development needs and provide support.

Main Requirements

Minimum of Eight (8) years of experience in Human Resources related areas such as OD, Performance Management, Career Development, Talent Management, HR Policy, Recruitment, or a combination of the above is required.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in an international environment or international organization is desirable.

Excellent Knowledge required to analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate performance management systems for a large organization.

Excellent Knowledge of Global best practices in Performance management & organizational development ( e.g. balance scorecard )

Excellent Knowledge of Job Analysis and to relate jobs across the organization.

Ability to interpret Remuneration Survey data and draw numerical conclusions.

Good Knowledge of Reward Management tools & techniques.

Fluent in English is a must.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills with experience of presenting complex/high impacting proposals to executive management level audiences

Excellent interpersonal skills with experience of building effective working relationships at all levels of an organization / with different nationalities & cultures

Experience of providing advisory to senior management.

Good understanding of the roles & responsibilities of key business functions and how they inter-relate to achieve business objectives

Good knowledge of general HR operations , recruitment & C&B concepts, theories, legislation & practices & their application in the workplace.
