Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for marketing various products and services of the bank to potential and existing clients, working on attracting and retaining them. You will also provide services to these customers with the highest standards of quality to solidify the relationship with the customer and achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This is done with the ultimate goal of enhancing branch performance and achieving the strategic objectives of the bank within the policies, procedures, and regulatory oversight of banking operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management with individual customers, responding to their inquiries promptly, and handling related matters efficiently within business policies.
- Conduct market visits and attract new customers to contribute to increasing the bank's market share.
- Market and sell bank services and products using cross-selling skills.
- Market direct facilities and manage direct sales, attracting different customer segments and acquiring new funds and accounts.
- Receive requests for opening bank accounts for customers, process them, and send them to the concerned parties to ensure the account is successfully opened for the customer.
- Provide specialized services for customers, such as the renting of iron boxes as a promotion of the bank’s services.
- Execute internal transfers between individual customer accounts.
- Receive customer requests for loans or credit cards, conduct necessary studies, and obtain the required approvals.
- Study and analyze customer requests for issuing checkbooks in order to make appropriate decisions,
- Issue direct payment cards promptly through immediate printing.
- Receive customer requests for obtaining clearance certificates or statements and other related certificates, submit them on the system, and send them to the relevant authorities.
- Receive requests for updating personal information for individual customers and businesses, obtain necessary documents, and send them to the relevant parties for the completion of the data updating process according to standard regulations.
- Collection of deposited overdue customer cheques, and the customers’ requests in withdrawing deposits and delaying them.
- Due Study of the statement for non-paying customers and coordinate with clients to address loans.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in financial sciences and Banking, Accounting, Business Administration, or any related field
- A minimum of 2 years experience in the banking industry
- Good knowledge of the financial banking work environment and the bank's services and products
- English language proficiency (writing and conversation): Intermediate level (Level 2)
- Strong Communication skills
- Problem Solving Skills
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet, Mailing Application)
