Scope of Work:
Leads the X-Ray Technicians Team
To perform a variety of X-ray duties
Performs routine and delegated duties according to departmental policies. Provide X-ray services according to national/MOH and WHO standards.
Undertake professional duties under direction of the line manager.
Support the clinical management of the patients in RCRC Hospital and IMC clinics in the camp when required and as per as requested by attending physicians;
Take, register and, process native X-rays, e.g. chest, bones, etc.;
Keep regular stock of X-ray consumables, e.g. films and necessary chemicals as per as agreed upon
Plan and set-up the X-ray facilities according to health standards as required by the supervisor/line manager and rules and regulations. This includes:
Maintenance of X-ray stock and accurate record keeping of X-ray activities;
Maintenance of proper storage conditions X-ray material and equipment;
Maintain appropriate disposal of X-ray chemicals in cooperation with other actors related
Maintenance of X-ray equipment.
Ensure that disposal of all X-ray waste chemicals is done appropriately/in line with MoH and other requirements and documented as per requested
Follow hospital standards for the X-ray service
To inform immediately clinical staff and line or Hospital Manager of any critical delay or breakdown in essential X-ray services
Provide regular and timely reports; to be agreed upon with the line manager;
Train clinical and other hospital staff in his/her capacity and attend in-service training as per agreed upon with the line manager;
Work according to the Ministry of Health / WHO and ERU hospital guidelines, including quality assurance;
Share and develop technical skills with the colleagues as part of a mutual capacity building objective
Ensure good standards of hygiene according to IPC policies and SoPs in the words at all times
Ensure the maintenance of adequate stocks of materials for routine ward consumption
Ensure prompt reporting and submission of internal request repairs of non-functional equipment (medical and non-medical) to the appropriate departments for repair
Perform other duties assigned/requested by the line manager and Hospital Manager.
Minimum of required qualification:
Bachelor Degree in Xray from a Jordanian University
MOH License of practice
NGO experience is preferable
Good English Skills
Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
The candidate must be willing to offer her/his certificate to obtain MOH clinic license.
