JOB PURPOSE: this role will support in the implementation of the circular economy and green growth project under the EU. The Assistant will support the project manager in the implementation of pilot projects in Mafraq and in Za’atari Refugee Camp as well as advocacy and research components with the project partner.
an ideal candidate will also have:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a subject related to natural resource management, water, environmental studies/engineering, or other fields with relevant experience
At least 1-2 years of experience in Jordan in the environmental sector (water, waste management, climate change, and/or other relevant fields)
Experience in research, influencing and advocacy work related to sustainable development in the field mentioned above. This includes participation in research, campaigns, stakeholder engagement and/or other relevant activities
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Excellent English writing and verbal skills
